The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Retno Marsudi in a meeting with the EU special envoy, Tomas Niklasson discussed the girls’ education in Afghanistan.

Food giveaway with health education at Sanderson community center – The Baker County Press

Mayo Clinic and Feeding Northeast Florida sponsored a health and wellness education and food distribution event in partnership with the Florida Department of Health-Baker (FDOH-Baker) and Beauty & Wellness Rx at the Sanderson community center last Saturday.

The giveaway catered to about 30 families with food and health education but local churches and other community organizations accepted the leftover food donations also used to fill blessing boxes in the county.

The food distribution included both fresh food and non-perishable food products. The sheriff’s office Explorers post once again volunteered to help with parking and logistics at the event.

Proposed 7.5% tax increase in Louis Riel School Division would pay for universal full-day kindergarten

The Louis Riel School Division is proposing universal full-day kindergarten starting this fall, and a 7.5 per cent increase in local property taxes to support it.
