Survey Seeks to Define US International Education Strategy

​While the United States is a leading destination for international students, the international education sector lacks a unified national strategy, relying instead on a decentralized network of state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and institutions.

In partnership with ACE and nine other higher education organizations, IDP Connect has launched a survey to identify collective priorities to ultimately design a comprehensive national strategy for international education.

Higher education leaders, including executives at higher education organizations, as well as campus presidents, provosts, deans, vice presidents, trustees, directors, and senior international officers are encouraged to complete the survey. Responses are due Dec. 22.

Pacific Northwest University’s ‘Run for Your Life’ returns, supports health education

In a vibrant display of community spirit and support for education, Pacific Northwest University hosted its annual “Run for Your Life,” event today.

Delhi Budget 2024: Focus on women, health, education, and infrastructure development

LRSD looking to expand to all-day kindergarten


Universal, all-day kindergarten could be coming to schools in Winnipeg’s Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) as its draft budget for the upcoming year includes a plan to expand.


School board officials say it will help parents with child-care and students with learning; however, it does come at a price.


That’s because homeowners in the LRSD could be facing a larger than-normal property tax hike, with part of that going towards expanding to all-day kindergarten.


“We decided to go a little higher to provide something extra for our community,” said Chris Sigurdson, vice chair of the LRSD
